Like most veterinarians, I developed a love for animal welfare at a very young age. But, unlike most, life threw a few curveballs and my dream of becoming a vet only came to fruition after achieving a career in software engineering. My deep desire to make a direct positive impact on animal lives was the driving force behind this dramatic and fantastic change. I obtained my VMD degree from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Toronto.
As a Fear Free Certified veterinarian, I strive to provide low stress, welcoming vet visit experience to all pets and their human companions. I bring with me over 8 years of experience working in an emergency and referral clinic where I managed a variety of challenging cases and practiced top quality, evidence-based medicine. I gained a particular appreciation for the value of preventative medicine which I will passionately advocate for your furry friends.
In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with various veterinary charities, riding motorcycles, cycling, skiing and furthering my knowledge in veterinary medicine. My partner and I share our home in downtown Toronto with a sassy rescue cat Prata and the most chill Wheaten terrier mix puppy, Banksy.
